Step 7 · Iron Delicate Fabrics

For fabrics like silk, rayon, or synthetics, select the lowest appropriate heat setting on your iron. Place a clean, dry pressing cloth (such as a cotton handkerchief or a piece of muslin) between the iron and the garment. Iron gently, applying minimal pressure, and avoid using steam unless the fabric care label specifically allows it.
