Step 2 · Prepare the Iron

If using a steam iron, open the water reservoir cap and fill it with distilled or demineralized water to the indicated fill line. Close the cap securely. Plug the iron into a power outlet and select the appropriate temperature setting for the fabric of the garment you intend to iron. Consult the garment's care label for the recommended setting.
