Let these painted boards sit and cure completely. Listen, paint might feel dry to the touch in a few hours, but it takes days, sometimes even weeks, to reach its full hardness. If you try to install them too soon, you're going to scuff and damage that beautiful finish you just worked so hard on. Be patient; it's worth it.
